Annapolis Backyard Patio

The owners of this Annapolis home were interested in creating a functional backyard. Previously, during inclement weather, the yard would become a soggy mess. It was difficult to entertain friends and family as the yard had no real definition.

Maryland Curbscape consulted with the homeowners and designed this beautiful round Annapolis backyard patio. Here is a view of the patio from the back deck of the home.

The patio was designed to create flow from the house to the back deck leading down stairs onto the patio. This serves to define the space allowing for simpler entertaining.

It is a nice size patio and the round shape is a blank slate for the homeowner to decorate with many purposes in mind. It is large enough for a table and chairs plus chaise lounges, potentially creating a wonderful outdoor living space for entertaining or relaxing. The round design is more architectural in nature, and is finished in a grey slate color.

The installation of the patio also served to decrease the incidence of muddy messes due to winter snow or spring rainstorms, creating a lower maintenance yard. Plus less grass to cut!
