A family in Piney Orchard, in Odenton, MD contacted Maryland Curbscape to install a set of concrete stairs and a concrete patio in their back yard. Previously the owners did not have any back patio or stairs. It was simply a door with an immediate drop. The owners wanted concrete stairs and a back patio to entertain guests and to have a space to relax with the family. Maryland Curbscape was able to do accomplish both. Since there is very little difference in price between wooden and concrete stairs, the owners wanted to keep the look and design consistent. The concrete is colored and stamped with a natural looking stain and stamped with an irregular stone pattern. The stairs were properly pinned to the foundation of the house as to prevent the concrete stairs from settling.
